Spot avoidable pressure

See where communication, participation and the environment ask too much of people.

Improve the flow

Review pacing, transitions, breaks, food and hydration through the participant’s eyes.

Choose three practical changes

Use the worksheets and action card to decide what you will do differently at a real event.

For event organisers: a quick, practical way to strengthen an event you are planning or reviewing.

For venues and suppliers: a clearer view of how everyday delivery choices affect participants.

For individual learners and teams: useful ideas you can apply without a larger budget or a full redesign.

What you will be able to do

By the end of the mini-course, you will be able to: • recognise where an event creates avoidable cognitive or sensory pressure; • use clarity, choice, calm and permission to improve participation; • review an agenda, transitions, food and hydration from the participant’s perspective; and • choose three realistic improvements for an event you organise or support. The course focuses on practical event-design decisions. It does not ask you to diagnose anyone and it does not replace accessibility, safeguarding or safety responsibilities.
