Understand pressure
Recognise patterns of stress, fatigue and burnout in event work.
Protect recovery and boundaries
Distinguish personal influence, shared agreements and organisational responsibility.
Strengthen everyday team habits
Make speaking up, asking for help and responding to uncertainty easier.
For event organisers: event managers, planners, producers and freelancers responsible for delivery.
For venues and suppliers: teams whose decisions shape participant and staff experience.
For associations and organisations: people strengthening event practice across a team.
What you will be able to do
By the end of the mini-course, you will be able to: • recognise patterns of stress and fatigue in event work; • understand why recovery and boundaries matter; • separate what is within your influence from what needs team or organisational support; • recognise behaviours that make communication easier or harder; • support constructive conversations when pressure is high; and • leave with three specific improvements to put into practice. This is practical, non-clinical professional development for event teams. It does not ask you to diagnose or treat anyone.
